The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has <a href="https://dph.illinois.gov/resource-center/news/2025/january/release-20250109.html">approved four new conditions</a> eligible for treatment with <a href="https://illinoiscannabis.org/medical">medical cannabis</a>. Effective immediately, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and female orgasmic disorder have been added to the state's list of qualifying medical conditions. 
This marks the first expansion of approved conditions since 2019, bringing the total to 56.
